Dallas Rangemaster

The much talked about but rarely seen Dallas Rangemaster ...Only 300 were made in 1966. We have 2... where are the other 298? Do you own one? How many no longer exist?

If you ever bought your guitar hero's combination of guitar and amp, but still didn't attain 'that sound', the chances are that he (Clapton, Townsend, May, Blackmore and many more) had a Dallas Rangemaster tucked away at the back.

This amazing little box could boost volume level by two or three times and enhance the harmonic 'inner voice' of the music. One drawback was the very high background noise produced (the sound of bacon frying at 100 Watts!) in between songs.
